Encouraging young girls & women

as they pursue healing after heartbreak

I’m Katherine,

A Social Media Manager and Strategist by day, and a writer and content creator by night. When I’m not working, you can usually find me in a workout class, or laying on the floor with my friends talking (for hours, honestly).  I also love long beach days with no plans or obligations!

I started writing when I was 12 and haven’t stopped since — I’ve filled up 36 journals (and counting). Everything I write is inspired by God’s word and personal journal entries I’ve written over the years— it’s quite literally a piece of my heart. My prayer is that this space leaves you feeling encouraged, seen, and empowered. Thank you so much for being here.

As always, this is a piece of my heart. Consider it yours.

Dating In My Teen Years

God draws near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and the same way He’s held my hand through different seasons of devastating heartbreak, he’ll hold onto yours, too.

Your guy hasn’t texted you back, either?

Here’s four things I tell myself to help calm my anxiety and soothe the part of me that’s afraid of being left or ghosted without explanation. I’m praying that they help calm your anxious heart, too.

Psalm 147:3

“He heals the brokenhearted
    and binds up their wounds.”

Psalm 23

“The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength.”
