When God Feels like a Clingy Boyfriend

The fact that we can be our most authentic, unfiltered (and sometimes unhinged, lol) version of ourselves with God & not scare him off is wild to me… and I used to think that God felt like a clingy boyfriend, to be honest.

The fact that He’s ALWAYS with me and wants to spend time with me felt overwhelming...but now I find so much comfort in it, and it’s why I love Psalm 139:2-3.

“You know when I sit down or stand up.
    You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
You see me when I travel
    and when I rest at home.
    You know everything I do” (Psalm 139:2-3).

I love that He already knows what we’re thinking before anything comes out of our mouths (Psalm 139:4),
He knows exactly what we need and when we need it,
and He isn’t caught off guard by the things that happen in our lives.

So this is your reminder that no matter what you do or where you are, God is with you, loving you most & pursuing your heart. He’s a present, faithful Father— & we can trust Him to take good care of us.
