Dating Advice I’d Give My Younger Self
Here’s some dating advice I’d give my younger self. Praying that this is helpful and meets you where you’re at!
It’s not worth staying up late to see if he calls. Why would he be calling you so late, anyway? Go to bed. Your future self will thank you for it.
Stop abandoning yourself in order to keep him comfortable. It’s never worth losing yourself in an attempt to make someone stay. You’re worth more than this.
You shouldn’t have to start a relationship with an apology. If you aren’t even dating yet and he’s already apologizing for how he’s treating you or how he has treated you in the past…it’s worth considering if being with him is wise.
You’re worth more than knee deep love and poor communication. If he cares about you and your relationship, he’s going to communicate with you…even if it’s messy.
